This four-week series, Summer Vacation, takes summer vacation themes and asks what we might learn about God from them. We will look at nature, frustrating vacation moments, and habits that show us more of God and how we are formed in his image.

When we see grand spaces, amazing creations, intricate organisms, and other parts of our creation, we can join them in their praise of God, recognizing that God is grander, wiser, more creative, and powerful than we could ever imagine. Like the grandeur of the Grand Canyon or the mighty redwoods, and like the intricacies of the mycorrhizal network of fungi unseen by our eyes, we can attempt to comprehend the magnitude or intricacies of God, but we won’t be able
to do so.

Woman Church - Women of Courage

Mission: To encourage, equip, & empower women of any background to be sold out and surrendered to God.

A Mother's Legacy

One of the most admirable qualities of a mother is tenacious courage. Too often, we sell mothers short as women—considering them only in light of passages like Proverbs 31 or Titus 2 that tell how to order their households, relate to their husbands, and live their daily lives.

But God created them to be protectors, advocates, and sacrifices for their children. Motherhood asks them to lay down their lives for them—to demonstrate Christ’s sacrifice for them again and again if needed—not because we can save them, but because He can, and He’s ordained mothers' to be light-bearers to lead them to Him.

Everyone whose life has been forever altered by a godly mother or mother figure should
celebrate the God of creation who chose that woman to be their mom!

2nd Sunday Ride

Let's Ride!!...

May 12th is the 2nd Sunday and if you are new to Open Road Fellowship, that's when we jump on our bikes and head out as a group right after church for a nice ride.  It's an opportunity for us to grab some good food and enjoy some fellowship as we take some time to get to know one another.  The direction we head is always an adventure but geared to provide a relaxing time out on the bikes. Invite your friends; maybe a nice ride might be what motivates them to come to church. Hey, and if you don't ride, don't let that stop you from enjoying the day...just hop in your car and follow along.

North, south, east, or west... no matter where we head, you are sure to enjoy the ride.  So, come join us for our next 2nd Sunday ride!

End of School Celebration - May 2024

It's time to get out of our building and enjoy some time with our community. What better way than to celebrate the end of school. Come out to Tall Timbers Park on Hwy 80 for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship. We will also take some time to worship... praising our great God for all His blessings. 

Invite your friends and family, start talking about it, and be ready to be there. This will be our May Serve Day, so make sure and sign up at End of School Celebration!
